I really was quite apprehensive as to how I was going to deal with this event, but I am so pleased that I went. (21st May 2010) All the clergy and the student doctors from the teaching hospitals were there, along with the students' choir. Tables were set at each side of the room with photographs of the donors. The actual service was very moving, and at one point I really thought I was going to break down, but somehow managed to hold myself together, only a few tears. I felt really proud of what Mike had done - seeing his name on the list of donors in the service book, and to have him referred to as one of the 'posthumous heroes of science'.
